Restaurant TIK
Interior Design
Located in Zug, TIK is more than a restaurant. It is an immersive experience shaped through thoughtful interior architecture and a deeply emotional approach to design. Every texture, every material and every line was carefully curated to awaken memory, comfort and a sense of belonging.
The story begins in a small Tuscan village, in the warm and fragrant kitchen of a devoted grandmother. While other children played outside, a curious little boy spent his afternoons observing the quiet magic of her rituals — kneading dough on a worn wooden table, gathering herbs from the garden and watching sauces gently simmer on the stove.
She never followed recipes. She followed tradition, intuition and love.
Those moments stayed with him.
Years later, life carried him toward larger cities and faster rhythms. Yet certain sensations always brought him back: the scent of rosemary, the sound of a bubbling pot, flour resting on his fingertips. Instantly, he would return to terracotta floors warmed by the sun, rustic stone walls, handmade pottery and the comfort of his grandmother’s kitchen.
When the time came to create his own place, he knew it had to become more than a business.
It had to feel like home.
This emotional memory became the foundation of TIK and guided the entire interior design concept: a space where tradition meets modernity and where Tuscan authenticity blends with refined contemporary hospitality design.
The material palette pays homage to its origins through terracotta textures, natural stone, solid wood, olive-green tones and timeless marble details. Every element was selected to create emotional resonance and a stronger connection between people and place.
Rustic warmth meets contemporary elegance, creating an immersive and intimate atmosphere. Tailored lighting recalls the golden glow of Tuscan sunsets, while carefully selected furnishings evoke the hospitality and comfort of gathering around a family table.
More than a restaurant design project, TIK becomes a story translated into space — one where memory shapes experience and where every guest feels invited to slow down, connect and belong.
