What is neurodesign and why do we use this approach?
At RK Interiors, design goes beyond aesthetics - it's a tool for emotional and cognitive well-being. Rooted in neurodesign, our approach applies neuroscience to create environments that reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and promote psychological balance.
Biophilic design - through natural light, greenery, textures, and organic shapes - deepens our connection to spaces, enhancing vitality and comfort.
With a background in engineering and experience in leading global projects, I found my true path in Switzerland, where my vision as a designer became clearer and more meaningful.
Every project begins with attentive listening. We design not just for how a space looks - but for how it makes you feel, live, and thrive.

Frequently asked questions
Do you serve all neighbourhoods in Versoix?
Yes. Our atelier is in central Lausanne (Av. de Beaulieu 43) and we work across Versoix and the surrounding communes. Meetings can happen at your home, at the atelier or by video call.
How much does an interior designer cost in Versoix?
Fees depend on the surface, scope and level of finish. Most projects run on a fixed design fee agreed upfront or a percentage of the overall budget. The first consultation is free and you receive a transparent quote before committing.
How long does an interior design project take in Versoix?
Decoration projects usually take 4 to 8 weeks; full interior architecture projects, 8 to 16 weeks from concept to delivery. After the first consultation you receive a realistic timeline for your space.
What is the difference between an interior designer and a decorator?
A decorator works on the atmosphere: furniture, colours, textiles, lighting. An interior architect also rethinks the space itself: partitions, flow, technical plans and site coordination. At RK Interiors we cover both - plus the neurodesign approach.
What is neurodesign and how does it benefit my project in Versoix?
Neurodesign applies neuroscience to interiors: light, proportion, materials and flow are designed to reduce stress and improve daily wellbeing. We pioneered this approach in French-speaking Switzerland, with a monthly column in Marie Claire Suisse.
Do you take on commercial projects in Versoix?
Yes - restaurants, offices, retail and hospitality. Our portfolio includes projects such as Restaurant TIK and the UNIL offices in Lausanne. We design commercial spaces that engage the senses and support efficiency.
Do you work with remote or expat clients?
Yes, a large share of our clients are international. We run projects fully in English, French or Portuguese, with regular video updates, shared boards and on-site visits coordinated by us.
Can you help with permits and Swiss building regulations?
Yes. We guide you through the process and coordinate with the relevant local authorities for renovation and fit-out work. For structural changes we work alongside licensed architects and engineers.
Can I visit your atelier?
Yes, gladly. We welcome clients at our atelier on Avenue de Beaulieu in Lausanne to look at materials, samples and finishes. Just book a time slot.
How does a project with RK Interiors start?
It all starts with a free consultation: we listen to your needs, lifestyle and expectations. You then receive a detailed proposal with scope, timeline and investment - no surprises.
